So wait?! How do we get from scheming, sneaky Lu Tian Xing to a wedding with Tao Le Si?! This drama! So the writers play pin the tail on the storyline-donkey or something each week?! The other though that scares me is that this could be a dream.

Pastor: Lu Tian Xing, will you marry Tao Le Si and respect and treasure her for the rest of your life?
Lu Tian Xing: I will.

To say that I'm bewildered as to how we get to this happy ending, would be an incredible understatement. All that aside, I am really loving that hairstyle on Aaron. Dang he looks good! I also ADORE all the happy smiling friends cheering them on at the wedding! Yay! (And they are all happily coupled off, which is run of the mill for Taiwanese dramas I hear. I am glad that Tian Xing and Taozi look so dang happy. I can applaud that. I swear, if it's some sort of fake out sequence, I might have to give up on Taiwanese drama...but then there is Aaron. That would mean never seeing him again in a drama. Oh well. I guess I won't give up then ;)

Is it just me, or isn't that the same church where the whole Huan Huan wedding fiasco happened? Is this like K-drama where there only seems to be one church in all of Seoul where people get married?

From what I've heard on the grapevine, episode 20 is the finale. Let's hope we get some nice, pretty, happy bows to tie up to this crazy ride of a drama. At least it gave us gorgeous Aaron ;) And some pretty dang good kiss scenes. Yay for Taiwanese drama kisses!!!

Here's to a happy ending! Not only do Tian Xing and Taozi deserve it, but we do too for suffering through the crazy

So has anyone actually heard anything definitive about how long this drama is going to be? There wasn't even a smidgeon of Taozi in this preview, which makes me think we're still not near enough for that happy ending that I would like.

It looks like Mama Li might be deserting her children in favour of Tian Xing. I mean, I know he's cool and all, but okay. We'll just go with that storyline then. Also, Lance is super upset. Like really upset.

Lu Tian Xing: I will be the future CEO of Tianji company.

(Angrily to Mama Li and then Tian Xing and Huan Huan)

Lance: You admit that I am not your son. This is the sister I have treasured for 20 years.

Nikki provided a clearer translation in the comments below: "Just admit that I was never a son to you."

I am a little confused. Wasn't Tian Xing already the CEO of Tianji? Did the story change and now they're switching him to aspiring to be the CEO? Or did Tian Xing get kicked out of the company during his vacation time?

And is Lance being disowned or is this some crazy birth secret? Man, I don't even know what to think anymore. I know I am a little behind with watching the drama, but really, I am not quite sure where they're headed with it. Oh well. It's not like I've never watched a crazy drama before ;)

Oh man, I guess we really are going full on noble idiot here. I thought that once Tian Xing knew that Huan Huan was faking the whole wheelchair thing, he would be sure to drop her like a hot potato, but it appears not. Dang it!

And I also really hoped we were not going to get to the altar here with the wrong couple. I seriously do not understand the noble idiocy trope.

Lu Tian Xing: I'm getting married to Huan Huan.

(Tian Xing walks past Tao Le Si)

Lu Tian Xing: Don't congratulate me and don't trust me.

(At the wedding)

Minister: Ms. Li Huan Huan, will you marry Lu Tian Xing?

(Lance bursts into the church)

Lance: I object!!!

Finally! Lance is maybe, just maybe going to redeem himself!!!.I really thought it was a sure thing that Tian Xing was going to wake up and stand up for the woman he loves and not marry Huan Huan. Has everyone forgotten that it was Huan Huan who followed Tian Xing and Taozi and decided to throw herself down the cliff? This drama! Aaron, what have you done to me that makes me want to watch this even though it's so crazy!?

Melodrama aside. You can really see the pain on Tian Xing's face as he walks past Taozi. Why is he doing this to himself? Why?! Why is he allowing himself to be so manipulated?! Even if they were blood family, what the Li family is doing to him is absolutely awful!

I am really glad that Lance seems to be stepping up to the plate though, finally. I know the photo wasn't enough proof and that Huan Huan seems to be getting worse, but she needs to take her meds and go to physiotherapy (and get psychological treatment too). Let's hope they can resolve this well and that our lovers can finally get the happy ending they deserve.

Fall In Love With Me Episode 16: No matter how the world changes, our love will not change.

Holy hotte kiss scene!!! Man oh man!!! Let's just say I got a lot more motivated to carry on watching the drama. It's like the writers finally realized that we want sexy Lu Tian Xing back on the screen and less crying (though Aaron does cry beautifully) and less emotional manipulation
They go to a river and play in the water. Tao Zi falls in the water and Tian Xing caries her to the place they will be sleeping at, a tent.

At the tent, Tian Xing is outside the tent. He’s drying their clothes to a big fire. Tao Zi is in the tent, too shy to go out.

Suddenly Tao Zi sees a snake in her tent. She screams, runs out and jumps in Tian Xing’s arms.

Tian Xing:” I said I’ll protect you.”

They kiss and they exchange rings. Their rings are made from clover.

Tian Xing:” Tao Le Si! No matter how the world changes, it’ll be okay if our hearts don’t change, right?”

Tao Zi:”If our hearts are together, no matter how far apart two people are, they’ll be able to feel each other’s intentions, and that feeling is heartwarming.”

Dang girl! Huan Huan can slap like nobody's business. Also, there seems to be a rather rapid increase in slapping in this drama lately. Not cool. Not cool. I saw some funny comments on the Soompi thread that suggested we all line up to slap Huan Huan.

I guess it's a good thing that we're finally liking Taozi a lot more (now that she's shown some spunk). I'm also really glad that they decided to split the teasers. We could have the super hotte and sexy one yesterday and now the "we hate Huan Huan" one today.

Taozi: I can't ignore my feelings about Lu Tian Xing.
Huan Huan: My fiancée stayed out with another girl. This is a huge insult! Don't you know that?

Man oh man. I'm writing this post on my lunch break and lizabreff and bilikinbear and we're talking about our mutual detestation of Huan Huan. Pretty much, we hate her guts. Sometimes drama really worries me about how it elicits my angrier side ;) Also, doesn't she look rather like a screaming Capuchin monkey?

Also, why in the world has Huan Huan had Tian Xing followed? Or I guess it could be evil, evil Lance who's made sure to have stuff to blackmail Tian Xing with. I've also seen a lot of comments around FB and Soompi about how the conflict of marrying Huan Huan while loving Taozi is a classic old values versus new values clash - traditional obeisance to parents and community versus modern notions of individuality and romance (heavily influenced by the West). I can see some of that.

I also want Tian Xing to figure out another way to save OZ other than sacrificing himself by marrying Huan Huan. I also think it's interesting that he's made it pretty clear that marriage to Huan Huan is going to be in name only and an act of responsibilty. Obviously the Li family is not so happy with that decision. Oh man. Episode 16 is going to be rather interesting. I think we need to watch the hotte preview again to recover.

Finally the big-bad-secret-crazy-dealings of Huan Huan and Lance (faking Huan Huan's paralysis) are going to be revealed! Tian Xing looks really, really, really angry. Man, I would not want to be at the receiving end of that anger. I really can't blame him though. The Li family needs some serious counseling.

I mean, at least she's alive so we can see the fall out from all this emotional manipulation.

Lu Tian Xing: You always lie to me! Stand up!*

*[The lovely kfangurl provided us with a closer translation: Voice-over: "You've been lying to me all this while. Stop pretending." Yells: "I'm telling you to stand up!"]

I'm so glad the incriminating photograph was still around and eventually given to Tian Xing. It's taken them long enough to get here! I really don't understand how Huan Huan thought she could get away with all of it. And who would want to live their life married to someone who clearly doesn't love them?! I am sure I've said that before actually. I am glad at least we seem to be getting the story moving along to somewhat of a resolution and less emotional manipulation. Let's hope that Tian Xing can stand up to the Li family and get rid of their toxic manipulation! I also hope that Lance gets his comeuppance and that all the blame doesn't fall at Huan Huan's feet. This was definitely machinated by Lance and of course carried on with Huan Huan's insane obsession with having Tian Xing.
